About the Salthouse Sculpture Trail

The Salthouse Sculpture Trail, is having a re-launch for 2009 on Saturday 27th June. The walk is set on the beautiful North Norfolk stretch of coastline between Cley and Kelling and features a number of local artist’s sculptures. All are welcome! Click here for more information.

The Trail takes you on an exciting journey exploring coastal views, countryside, woodland, heathland and town by linking Salthouse Church and Heath, Holt town, Holt Country Park, Kelling Heath Holiday Park and Kelling Heath. Approximately ten miles long you can begin the trail at any point and follow it in any direction with waymarkers guiding your way (these being in an anticlockwise direction). If eager, you can choose to explore the whole trail in one go, or in shorter sections for a more leisurely stroll.

The first pieces of sculpture, all created by local artists, are being erected along the route during July 2008, but as an ongoing project many additional works are planned and will be added to the trail in the coming months and years. Watch this space for future developments and news on forthcoming works
